The association creates bridges between artists and cities, offering time and space for creation, dialogue, and exchange.

Residencies take place in symbolic locations of art and heritage such as Venice, Tirana, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, and Corsica, where artists engage with local contexts while developing new work.

- Seeing Beyond Borders

- Seeing Beyond Borders

… comes from the ancient
Greek word ὅραμα (hórama),
meaning vision, sight,
or something seen in
the mind’s eye.

It evokes the act of seeing
beyond appearances,
a perspective that aligns perfectly
with photography
and artistic exploration.

The name suggests clarity,
revelation, and imagination
a vision of the world
transformed through art.

  • Palazzo Vendramin Grimani is a historic Venetian palace overlooking the Grand Canal, today home to the Fondazione dell’Albero d’Oro. Carefully restored and opened to the public in 2021, the palazzo preserves the atmosphere of a traditional Venetian residence while serving as a vibrant cultural space dedicated to artistic creation and dialogue.
Through exhibitions, artist residencies, and literary events, the palazzo brings new life to a building that remained closed to the public for centuries. Today it stands as an international hub for cultural exchange, reflecting Venice’s historic role as a crossroads between East and West.

  • Vila 31 is a historic villa in Tirana that once served as the residence of Albania’s former dictator Enver Hoxha. Today, it has been transformed into a contemporary cultural space dedicated to artistic research, creation, and dialogue. Renovated by the architectural firm NeM, the building carefully balances the preservation of its historical identity with the creation of neutral spaces designed to host artists, exhibitions, and cultural projects, contributing to the public reappropriation of this symbolic site in the heart of the city.

  • Nestled in the heart of the village of Oletta, Casa Conti - Ange Leccia is a venue dedicated to moving images, halfway between cinema and contemporary art.

This venue aims to assert its regional roots while broadening its horizons, challenging the strict opposition between the local and the global. Thus, Casa Conti - Ange Leccia aims to be a tool for the production and dissemination of contemporary creation on both a local and international scale, while prioritising links with the island community. Casa Conti's clear objective is to promote island creation and participate in the production and dissemination of contemporary art in Corsica.

Casa Conti - Ange Leccia intends to assert its status in Corsica as an alternative venue with an artistic programme that includes one or two summer exhibitions and a research and creation residency in the autumn.

Under the aegis of the artist Ange Leccia, after whom the venue is named, Casa Conti aims to participate in the promotion of art in its most experimental forms. In this way, it contributes to the creation of a vast cultural ecosystem in the Mediterranean where, in the words of Ange Leccia, ‘the sun is a form of writing, a force’.
